LIFE IS JUST THROWN AT YOU. YOU HAVE TO HOLD ON TO THE GOOD AND LET THE BAD GO. THIS IS JUST SOME OF MY GOOD.

CRUISIN' 2011

We are back from our Bahama cruise. It left Miami to Nassau, than to Coco Cay Island and then to key West and back to Miami. It was so much fun. We swam on the beaches where we saw lots of sharks, stingray and a barracuda. Did some shopping at each of the ports. We went kayaking, and jet skiing. Ate lots of food at the buffet morning, noon and night on the ship. Ughh. I played the slots (I won almost $200.00....YAY!) and Ugur played poker in the casino. Went to some of the shows on board. We just had a great time. Fun, fun, fun.
If you are ever in Key West you have to go to sloppyjoes and try a.....you guessed it....a sloppy joe sandwich. That is where they originated and they are the best thing ever.

I think I can keep up with her.

Ugur copping a feel. Bad, bad Ugur.

Gone kayaking!

A funnel cloud in the distance.

Our towel bunny from Bernard in housekeeping.

Lounging by the pool.

Listening to some Bahamian music.

On board and ready to set sail.

My "sail away" drink.

Jet skiing.

Holy crap!!! Are we really doing this? I have never prayed so much in my life.
I always wanted to do this and I'm glad I did and maybe I will again some day but this was scary. We ended up catching a wave and flying through the air. I landed about 6 feet away from the jet ski. That is when I lost my brand new $230.00 pair of rx sunglasses. Maybe Nemo found them.
I don't know how it's possible but Ugur managed to keep his cap on his head through it all.

MY CREATIVE SIDE

By no means am I a great seamstress. I can't even do buttons or zippers. Maybe one day I will learn, though. I am more of a crafty sewer. These are just some of my projects I have made. They are simple but I am proud of them all the same.
